When a player approaches an elevator block, they will teleport to the elevator block below it, and jumping on an elevator block will teleport them to the elevator block above it. Elevators can be painted by applying dye to them. Painting elevators will only make them work if the elevator above/below is the same color. You can access the options interface by right-clicking on the elevator with an empty hand. To disguise the elevator, you can use any solid block, just right-click on the elevator with the desired block on your hand.
