JEI is almost a clone of the famous Not Enough Items mod, which adds the display of recipes. Contrast to the NEI that this mod is updated a lot more often, plus there is compatibility with mods BuildCraft, BloodMagic, Tinker Construct, ThaumCraft, etc.
Inventory:
Show Recipes: place the mouse pointer on the item, or press R
Show Usage: Move the mouse cursor on the item, or press U
Switching product: Ctrl + O
List:
Show Recipes: Click on item + R
Show Usage: right-Click the mouse or press U
the Next / Previous page: scroll Wheel
Search:
Select search Bar: Click or Ctrl + F
Clear Search: Click the right mouse button
Last Search: Arrow up
search for the name of the mod: Type @ before a word (for example, "@thaum")
Several terms work together (as a "wand @thaum")
View recipe
the Next / Previous page: scroll Wheel
see all recipes: Click on the category name Recipe
move the items in a region: Click [+]. Press Shift to move a few items.
- Download and install Java
- Install Forge for your version of Minecraft
- Install OptiFine HD (recommended)
- Press WIN + R buttons
- Enter %appdata% and paste
- Go to .minecraft/mods. If folder not exist, create it.
- Move .zip or .jar archive into .minecraft/mods.
- Profit!
