Aquaculture is an extension of Minecraft's basic fishing system. The fishing mod allows you to catch over 30 new fish using a completely new series of rods and tools. Each biome contains new fish species with random weights that can be crafted into fish fillets and food, as well as new shiny loot that can be caught while fishing! (Including legendary tools and Neptunium armor!)

Aquaculture 2 adds a series of new rods that allow you to equip hooks and bait with additional functionality. Custom lines and floats are available to make your fishing rod truly unique. Modifiers and customization items can be used in the tackle box, which also allows you to store additional hooks, bait, line and floats. Caught fish can be turned into fish fillets, the amount of fish fillets will depend on the fish (or weight if the option is enabled in the configuration). Plus, you can get shiny new loot while fishing!
