OpenBlocks Elevator Mod is a simple elevator/teleport mod that was imported from OpenBlocks for Minecraft 1.8+. In creative mode, it is located in the “elevator modification” tab. There can be blocks in between, and you can also have multiple blocks on the same X or Z axis.
This block is used to vertically transport players via teleportation. To work properly, two elevators must be placed in the same X and Z coordinates. In most cases, there can be a maximum of 4 solid blocks between elevators, and a maximum of 20 blocks can be between elevators to work properly.
When a player approaches an elevator block, they will teleport to the elevator block below it, and jumping on an elevator block will teleport them to the elevator block above it. Elevators can be painted by applying dye to them. Painting elevators will only make them work if the elevator above/below is the same color. You can access the options interface by right-clicking on the elevator with an empty hand. To disguise the elevator, you can use any solid block, just right-click on the elevator with the desired block on your hand.
